The hard work results from Hal were worth every penny we paid Hal. We hired Hal to Represent our son in a case that could have sent him to Federal prison for 20++ years and $250,000 in fines. Hire this man! I hired Mr.Garfinkel back in Dec 2019. for my 2nd DWI, and I blew almost 3 times the legal limit. The only thing I really had working in my favor was that I'm not from Chicago, where I got the DUI. Hal pushed my charges out for almost 4 years, and in the end he got me exactly what we were hoping for. 3 charges dismissed and the DUI reduced to wreckless driving. Hal is definitely the attorney to hire. My son got his second DUI along with other charges while on a business trip to Chicago in 2019. What words can I use to describe how awesome Hal is to say that this man is very astute doesn’t do him justice. So please be patient with me as I start from the beginning, I met Hal in June 2022 when my one and only son landed himself in big trouble while dating a young lady who alleged that he forced her into his car pulling a gun on her hitting with it after they got into a verbal/ Physical altercation. She also alleged he threatened to kill her and wouldn’t let her get out the car . When he was arrested no gun was found. However, he was now facing 6 to 30 years being charged with an Aggravated Domestic Battery, & Felony Kidnapping and was in need of a top Criminal lawyer who could get him out of this mess. Now remember my son was facing 6 to 30 years. After the meeting my son walked away with 30 days in the county, along with 30 months probation. The kidnapping charge was thrown out.
